Aldous Eveleigh is a visual artist who steers clear of categorization.

For himself, he draws cities, people, landscapes, animals and paints pictures which describe nothing so much as the play and revelation of vision itself.

New York New Work shows him dubbing over photographs- a film that was overtaken by events .

The most recent film, released in May 2004 and to be shown on the Heathrow Express is 'Short Stretch of the Thames' which meanders up river, taking in tourist sites from Greenwich to Westminster Palace. As haphazard as wallpaper, each image is covered by the next in an absorbing sequence.

Aldous currently lives and teaches art in central London.
