Originally commissioned as a portrait of Jeremy Issacs C4’s chief exec, (see central figure). This canvass took nine months to paint and completely possessed Peter throughout it’s creation.
His use of colour washes and highlights are repeatedly applied to the ever changing collection of rogues around the table.
This colossal canvas was painted in his London studio in Brixton during 1999. |
