Born in 1957, Robert starting painting at a very early age in Shenley. By the age of 10 he had his own studio in an old bathroom where he painted in Oils. He came to London at 18 where his art appeared on the streets of London for over twenty years.
As London’s original guerilla artist, his simple, single line chalk portraits adorned the empty billboards of the underground and London’s Soho. His style of work was adopted by fashion houses and magazines throughout the UK and in many international campaigns soon after.
Robert has continued to create incredible imagery and is currently in the final stages of his first solo publication, a graphic novel about civil war in Bloomsbury, and with Unity Peg a commission for new wing of Great Ormond Street Hospital."
