Again, the bottom right hand figures were re-created by Manet in the mid nineteenth century and re-painted as “Le dejeurner sur L’herbe” causing a stir for it’s depiction of nudity.
Picasso also visited the now familiar composition and used them in his 1962 sketches “Le Dejuener.”
Then in the 80’s, imagery was re photographed for the Bow-wow wow album cover with a controversially nude Annabelle aged 15.
